Today, Sunday, the Minister of Interior, Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, directed to speed up the completion of the Police Club’s two stadiums. This came during his visit to the club.

A statement from the Ministry of Interior stated:
“Al-Shammari was briefed on the progress of the completion of the training field, which has reached its final stages, in addition to reviewing the work on the club’s main stadium.”

The Minister made "a number of recommendations, including building a group of vital facilities that contribute to providing services to players," stressing "the continuation of full support for this ancient club, which has achieved many achievements at the local and Arab levels."

He stressed "the optimal preparation for the upcoming Asian Elite Championship, in which the Police Club will participate, representing Iraq in this tournament."
